AJ6-Engineering sent me a small chip to go with the exhaust system. This will ensure that the engine doesn´t run lean and fries the exhaust valves, now that the breathing has improved. It should also vastly improve the torque at any rev´s over 1500/min. How many more horses it will give I don´t know, but that´s not important, the torque is what counts. And of course, the fact that this engine will pull some 450 kg less than in the XJ81, and that the gears in this E-type are now 4 instead of three, will probably make this car go like stink! At least I hope so....
