Here are a few pics of my second XJ6-73. I really like the design of this car, infact I think it's the most beautiful model Jaguar ever made.
This example was pretty worn down when I bought it. I repaired some rust and tried to do a rolling restoration while I owned it. I managed to restore many of the pieces that were not visible, front and rear axles, brake system, all the interior fabric was exchanged etc....
I was about to restore the engine, but found the cost a bit heavy for my wallet, so I bought a good, used AJ6 with tranny and all, and put that in instead. That was a very lucky move. I had the looks of a classic but the mileage and feeling of a much more modern car. The job wasn't too hard, it took me just over 70 hours to complete the conversion.
